Fairport Rugby alumni Rob Ruhland will assume the Head Coaching position of the the Varsity Boys team this season! Coach Ruhland has been the head JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach for the last eight years. Ruhland graduated FHS in 2008 after winning the NYSRC State Championship and then later winning the USA Rugby DII National Championship with Oswego State. Ruhland is also currently the Head Coach at RIT. Ruhland replaces Coach Kirsch who has been the head coach of Fairport Rugby for the last 18 years. Coach Kirsch will still be involved with Fairport Rugby by coaching Flag Rugby, Modified Contact Rugby, and assisting with the Varsity team.
